Everyone Must Hul 7!!! everyone must hurl 7. seven. seven consecutive years of a group of kids getting together in southern new jersey and celebrating life by living excessively for the night of august 24th. drinking beer. so much beer, not to get comatose-drunk, but to have enough in your stomach to induce vomiting as an offering to the powers that be for all that is fun in life... or something. ok, there's no real reason other than its absurdity is fucking hilarious. sure, puking for the fun of it sounds a little odd, but wtf, the romans were into hurling, and they built the colosseum! (nevermind the fact that they also fed people to lions in said colosseum... no one likes a downer, mr buzzkill historian.) this party has gotten enough of a reputation that it was even featured in the village voice (pg. 40), which i'm still amazed about. in any case, a full report will be up on the brooklyn ski club site if you'd like to hear more about it. thanks to everyone who made it possible. p.s. i want everyone to know that the birdbath that cutie and bond are drinking from was, hours prior to the photos, filled with a pool of foul, green, stagnant water that was probably home to millions of protozoa. it's ok, boys, i hear that intestinal parasites are the new atkins! 8.24.07 [ 259 views ]
