Tathum Springs Hotel This is the Tathum Springs Hotel.. Built back in the late 1800's.. I remember it well as a child, as i would explore it.. It recently burned down.. Bath houses was modern for the 60's.. Imagine what they did in the 1800's inside master bed room. 1st floor fire place master bed room 1st floor fire place mast bed room 1st floor Grand entrance, front foyer with only inside stair.. all other stairs leading to upper levels was from the outside porches Main Hall past the Stairs.. Was for dining and cooking The seving area someone revamped a bit.. And did you noticed the air vents.. another thanks to the 4-H department of the 60's up the main stair in foryer out one of the windows The upper grand room.. most likely for gatherings and dances Main upstair fire place..Joins downstairs fireplace same area but you can see outer porch the outer creek bed was once a natural sulpher spring Thus the original reason of why the hotel was built in late 1800 Outer fields outside the Hotel, use to be ball park Tho i have no proof, it was once rumored that Babe Ruth played here Door way into one of the rooms some of the paper left on the up stair room wall callapse back left porch right side with the upper porch caving in right side with the upper porch caving in in mid early to mid 60's was the 1st 4-H camp in KY..
