Sound Check No.1: THE SIGIT
Starts from today im going 2 have special blog,talking about bands,i call it SOUND CHECK.
So for the first Sound Check,I'll pick The Sigit,one of my fav rock band from Indonesia,who got influenced by The Led Zep..;D
For those of you who doesnt know who The Sigit is,they r one of my fav rock band from Bandung,Indonesia.
Im falling in love with their music from the first time i heard them on one of our local radio in Jakarta...and since then i've become their biggest fan ;p
The SIGIT appeared on NME's Stereo ( July 30th),it written there like this:
"The S.I.G.I.T. - Black Amplifier.
Scorching, gonzo Zep Rock from our hot new Indonesian Friend"
Just got good news,that they confirmed their first Australian Tour in 9 cities(14 shows).
Im really proud of them,cus not many indonesian indie bands could go on tour abroad for almost a month.
The Gigs are organized by a local organizer.They'll open the shows for Dallas Crane, one of Australia 's big rock bands.
Its a good start for Indonesian indie bands to go International.
