Crazy Bus Drivers
Why do bus drivers treat their buses like sports cars? Why? My day started with me being flung down the aisle of the bus as I looked for a seat. I swear to god the bus driver was watching me find a seat and then hit the gas to make the bus lurch forward and send me sprawling. Then as we get close to my destination, there was an accident and the police had the road blocked off, therefore we were forced to detour. That was fine until the bus driver decided to make a turn and hit the gas all at the same time. The result was a big ass bus fish tailing on a residential side street. These drivers must have to be given some sort of high speed, off-roading, bus stunt driving course.
This reminds me of a taxi trip I had last winter. Picture this; it was heavily snowing that day, as usually the street plows were no where near where I was leaving or where I was going. The cabbie pulls up to the intersection where there are two left turning lanes and one right turning lane. I need to be going left. The cab driver pulls in to the right turning lane, gets up to the light which is red, then proceeded to floor the gas and makes a retarded left hand turn. I thought I was going to die.
