I am just a deamer
They say money makes the world go round. But when I hold a $5 bill in one hand and $10 bill in the other, I realize they are more or less the same. They are printed on the same paper with the same ink, so what makes one more valuable than the other? Then it came to me, the value placed upon them because another individual wants it. Which then becomes true of all material things, they have value because someone else has the desire or envy to want it more.
I then thought well, what is more valuable then possesion?
What could have more power in meaning?
What is the one thing we need more than food or shelter, and those who want it, yearn for it. And those who have it hold it as close as possible?
That answer is easier than we think though we have forgotten. It is a single word.
Love.

Love by definition is as follows:
love (luv) n. 1. A deep devotion or affection for another person or persons: love for one's children. 2. A strong sexual passion for another person. 3. Sexual passion in general or the gratification of it. 4. One who is beloved. 5. A very great interst in, or enjoyment of, something; also, the thing so enjoyed. 6. In tennis, a score of nothing.
-in love, expierencing love for someone or something.
-to fall in love, to conceive a love for someone or something.
-to make love, to kiss, embrace, etc. , as lovers. v. love
loving v.t. 1. To feel love or affection for. 2. to take pleasure or delight in: to love good food. 3. to show love for by kissing or caressing. - v.i. 4. To be in love.

So what does it mean? Ah that is an interesting question. You see love is versatile in it's meaning, it has many levels and is quite complex, yet so simple in it's result and equal in it's similarities. We often can't define it's mystery and we probaly shouldn't try. Just marvel at it's presence.
Should I love my family more than my friends?
Should I love my companion more than my children?
Should I love a stranger any less than myself?
Does it really matter?
When the emotion varies from person to person, it's extremeties vary as well, but does it really mean we should love less? No. it should be given and received as it was intended.
We should give love instead of money.
Love instead of bombs.
Love instead of prejudice and judgement
It's intensity should be irrevelent.

So with that in mind if all people gave love we might become addicted to it, thus miss it in it's absense and strive harder to keep it. And just maybe then we could grow as a people and find peace and happiness.
Then again, what do I know? I am just a dreamer...but I am not the only one.
